Engineering

MIT has been doing product development engineering for more than three decades. Our speciality is Catia and Unigraphics development software. However, we also have a great deal of experience in Pro Engineer, Solidworks, and Autocad. In a related topic, our technology practice is staffed by experts in developing PLM solutions using the Dassault Systems (Catia/Enovia) and Siemens (UG/TeamCenter) product suites. We are also authorized resellers of both and also offer training and support. Interested?

For legacy data migration (LDM), we conversion tools such as Polytrans, Theorem among others. We can support migration and/or remodeling for many CAD formats, including Pro Engineer, Catia, Solidworks, Ideas, Unigraphics, Autocad, Solid Edge and Microstation. Our team is very knowledgeable of VRML, STEP (ISO 10303), IGES and STL.

For non-contact 3D digitization, we use Solidworks to compare point cloud data with 3D models of existing facilities, equipment, and flight hardware. This can be used for reverse-engineering physical objects in editable 3D models, and also to support completed build verification.
MIT also handles virtual engineering and manufacturing simulation, using tools such Catia DMU Kinematics, Delmia Device Building, Catia Electrical Harness Installation Assembly Workbench, Catia D igital Shape Editor Workbench, and Catia Human Builder Workbench among others. Whether you design it or have us design it, we can test it and produce full report along with complete validation and verification data.
If you have engineering needs for any type of project, small or large, full design or simply legacy data migration, or need virtual simulations developed, please contact us. We are ready to discuss your requirements and answer all questions.
